Home / Hauling

Trucks on standby.

We contract our hauling rather than running our own fleet, and we keep trucks on standby so loads move on the day you need them. You get the delivery either way — without paying to keep trucks parked.

Haul units — nominal payloads for planning
UnitTypical payloadBest suited to
SINGLE~11 tonsTight residential access, small jobs, top dressing
TRI-AXLE~23 tonsThe workhorse — driveways, base, most commercial work

Payloads are nominal and vary with material density, moisture and legal axle weights. Access, overhead clearance and turnaround decide which unit we send — tell dispatch about the site and we'll match it.

01 How an order runs

Quote to grade in four steps.

01 / Spec

Tell us the job

Material, quantity and the delivery address. If you only know the dimensions, the calculator will do the rest.

02 / Quote

Priced same day

Material plus freight from the nearest location, so you're not paying for miles you don't need.

03 / Dispatch

Scheduled to your window

We match the haul unit to your access and stage loads to your sequence.

04 / Delivery

Weighed and ticketed

Certified scale ticket with every load. Quantities reconcile with the invoice.

02 Dispatch

Three locations means shorter hauls.

Freight is the part of an aggregate invoice you can actually control. Loading from the closest of our three locations cuts road time, which cuts cost and tightens the delivery window.

  • Loads routed from Hitt Lane, Lockport or Irvington
  • Access, clearance and turnaround assessed before dispatch
  • Staged and standing orders for phased work

03 Scope

What we do, and what we don't.

We supply and deliver material. Paving, utilities and site work are handled by a partner company, not by Liter's — if that's what you need, call us and we'll point you to the right people rather than quoting something we don't do.

Give dispatch the details.

Material, tonnage, site access and the date you need it on the ground.
